Ant I don't necessarily want to get involved either, but it seems we are really trying to appease the Iranians and the world to let them know we mean no harm to them. We only played a defensive role in this they were quick to announce. I don't know that we should be telling them what our intentions are at this point. Here's the thing. I think most Iranian, Russian and Chinese citizens, view Americans and the "perceived" American way of life favorably and would love to be more like us. It's their government's stance against the US and the US stance against their governments that is the issue. This is why the US for the most part tries to exercise restraint in hopes that those governments will eventually fail or be overthrown in some kind of velvet revolution and come around like East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, etc... So the point being is that restraint is probably a good thing when considering the consequences of an all out World War. Patience is a virtue. Things will more than likely work themselves out in due time. Israel and Iran don't have anything we need. Bad governments eventually fail. Good governments last a long time until they turn into bad governments and then they too eventually fail..

The whole thing was some sort of dog and pony show. Were helping Israel but were not helping Israel. Probably depends on which news channel youre watching

The Dems are split on our involvement with Israel. So Biden and his band of idiots are trying to ride the public perception fence while still supporting Israel. This Iran-Israel stuff did not go over the way they hoped it would with the Democrats. I think a bunch of Dems have now realized what a bad mistake they made by letting a bunch of Muslims take over a chunk of their party.
