Send PCP a pm. I will not divulge his secrets, but I have seen firsthand the results of his hex-busting ritual.

Oh this is serious. I’ll pray for healing and recovery. Nothing worse in April than dealing with this.

I've missed 2 turkeys in my life. I missed the very first one I called in by myself. I hadn't killed one at that point. Didn't have my head down in the gun. Then I missed a merriams that I called from about 500 yards in an alfalfa field... didn't have my head down on the gun. Lucky in the merriams he just gobbled when I shot. Then he gobbled again when I shucked another shell in the gun. Then I killed him.

I think 75% of misses on turkeys are people not getting their head down on the gun. I might be wrong I don't know. I just make sure it's down in the gun every time now. Also I try not to shoot through a bunch of thick stuff.

Go shoot your gun at one of those turkey targets and get your confidence back up. In the meantime I'll be praying for ya lol

I missed 4 gobblers the first 4 days of the
season 20 or so years ago then went on
a 7 year run of not missing

It’s unexplainable

Shooting a bead . At 40 my pattern is 50/50 shimmed to fit me . Recently got glasses bc of vision blurring not focusing but don’t wear em like I should possibly a vision issue in the heat of the moment

. I came straight home and shot 46 yards ( same as the misses 47-50 yards approx ) . I aimed for waddles on the live turkey and at the head on the target . After some consultation I think I’m gonna go from .565 to .585. Open it up a bit

I would submit that it would be easy to shoot over them at that range and pattern. Maybe get some contact lenses? You will smash the next one I have no doubt.
