I have a kubota L3901 tractor.
Buddy just brought me 8 gallons of super hd deal engine oil
CAM 2 15W-40

Said it was useless to him and he’s had it a couple months
And bought it while out of town.
Will this work in my tractor. I’m assuming yes but I am not mechanically
Inclined to know for sure.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

My phone screen does not always work right, usually a lot of misspelled words....

As long as your tractor takes 15/40 which I’m fairly certain it does it’ll be fine. We sell cam2 it meets all of the specifications required for engine oil. We have a lot of guys that run it exclusively

I think it is CK-4 that would be recommended for the Tier 4 emissions. The viscosity doesn't make too big a difference, but the additive packs can. I am not sure what the cam 2 is spec'd at. Just make sure to check the API classification so you don't stop up the DPF sooner.

It meets all certifications. It’s just a cheaper alternative to shell and chevron.

Some will argue that it’s less quality. I can’t confirm or deny that. We have a lot of guys that run it exclusively and haven’t had any issues and we have some guys who won’t touch it cause it’s not a top brand. I wouldn’t be afraid to run it in my stuff. I also don’t know that I’d go out seeking it either.

If it's the correct weight and meets or exceeds all specs , run it.

Twaldrop, I agree. Specs is the most important thing!! Our supplier at the college sells me plenty of cam 2 transmission fluid and grease but has never mentioned the oil. I am gonna have to check in on it. May be able to save some tax payers $$ on supplies.

Cam 2 is almost always a good bit cheaper for the consumer. We sell a lot of it to small operators. We still have our shell chevron guys too. But cam2 has been pretty good to us
