What's Aldeer's opinion.... the best 28 gauge over-under shotgun for a budget of less than $1000?

I've owned a Yildiz and currently have a CZ drake in for cerakote. Both in 28 ga
The CZ feels like a more "solid" gun, but thats because it has a steel receiver.
It's also heavier than the Yldiz
I like the looks of the Yildiz better because it has a middle rib between the barrels.
The Drake has a wide gap between the barrels.

The Drake is smoother out of the box. The Yildiz requires some breaking in.

Both are Turkish made guns.

There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... Those who have been F#CKED by PTG and those who will be!

Want to keep the walk-away cost in the $1k or less range.

Can’t speak for the gauge, but just bought an ATI 410 Calvary that I really like so far. Balanced well, pretty wood and shoots really well. I assume they make a 28 as well. It was 544$$ out the door.

I may be the luckiest guy around when it comes to guns. My daddy bought a Win 101 28 gauge back in 60’s I think from an old man that bought it to bird hunt with and he kept feathering birds. He hunted with it one fall and sold it to daddy for like $200. That’s what me and my brother both started dove and bird hunting with. I still use it rabbit hunting a lot. The shells are a lot better now than they used to be back in the 80’s for them, and a lot easier to find.
