Fixing to get on excavator and start working on draining to plant. Fields full of ducks Saturday when I was turkey hunting. Going to try rice for the first time. Got to make a dove field. When do yall plant sunflowers for doves?

Seen a bunch of ducks Saturday turkey hunting. Some this week tearing out dams and opening gates and pipes but not near as many. They must have been stopped over on their way back north.Now if i could get beavers to migrate till November i would have it made

Set 14 330 coni bears today and 6 snares. I am 2 months ahead of last year. Had another guy called before we left out this morning. If I wasn’t so old and broke down I would be parked on a dam tonight.

Been in bottoms all week. Only thing I have seen is a handful of wood ducks. Hoping those big ducks feeding in the fields like they were will help for next year
