I'm sure there will be a little effect, but to be honest, there really isn't much of anything in Linden to stop for. There's a Jack's, and a gas station or two...that's about it. A grocery store, but no travelers are stopping to go to a small grocery store on their way.

Came through Linden in the rain yesterday. Just not much there. Very much a "locals" town.

Kinda like when they bypassed Grove Hill years ago.

Now, if they were to bypass somewhere like Thomasville....that would hurt the townfolk there.


Funny story- my wife cries at any remotely sad movie. We were in a theater to see the animated movie Cars. At the end when the highway was bypassing the town, she was all teared up. I’m like why are you crying ? She said nobody will come through there anymore. I said “Hell we live in Grove Hill, you’re living it now”
