Reading the clips, it sounds to me like they must have been getting in their range time, and are shooting much more accurately than normal. Headlines normally read more like this: "39 shots fired, multiple caliber shell casings found at the scene. A man claiming to be an innocent bystander, named Pookie Washington, was struck in the lower arm and was taken to the hospital with a grazing gunshot wound, where he was treated and released."
