Saban's saying the stuff out loud now that Pearl and Freeze and Kirby and Kiffin, etc, want to say, but can't due to it negatively affecting recruiting.
All the coaches are thinking the same thing.
None of the active coaches have the balls to come out and say it, other than Deion...and he's Teflon.

I have no doubt the elite coaches think they should control everything in these young men's lives. I'm not a big fan of NIL, but these coaches need an ego check.

Correct. He agrees with Saban, and has actually come out and said it. But, he's allowed to say it as a current coach and it not negatively affect him because...well, you know.
Kirby came out a couple of days ago and nibbled around the edges of it, but wouldn't just come out and say it.
