Silencer Central has to send a certified letter to county sheriff letting them know that I'm now dangerous as an owner. Once they respond, it it shipped to an FFL and then they ship to me is my understanding. That’s some BS silencer central rule. All that is requited is that you send some sort of notification to your CLEO, hell I emailed my sheriff when I did my form 1 the other day

Well, The leo got the certified letter today, so now the 7 day wait period, and then it ships. I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas.

What’s this deal with amnesty on form 1 for SBRs? Friend in north Alabama was telling me about to the other day. There was an amnesty period from sometime in January to May 31st last year, where one with a braced pistol could apply for a free form 1 stamp to make it a legal SBR. Not aware of that program being a thing since then, though. *For now*, braced pistols are once again "legal".
