No. Neither one of them own the deer so neither of them have that right.

What the heck are you talking about man?

Hunting in general and having the physical strength and means necessary to hunt, especially with my wife, I don't have to kill a lot of deer or the biggest in the woods, as long as I have the opportunity to do it peacefully. Working towards buying my own litttle small track and I know that will be a blessing to hunt it how I please and enjoy it with her.....................

A man that owns his land should be able to do as he wants. Heck he should be able to shoot 20 bucks if desires, it's his. He already doesn't need a hunting liscence because it's his.

Absolutely! Freedom of speech. The landowner can tell him to kick rocks, but he has that right.

I like to shoot shucks. I also like to eat deer. Therefore I like to shoot deer. I know that I cannot shoot them All, so I wait on a good buck. It does not have to be a giant buck . I really do not care about the antlers much. If it is Late in the season and I have not killed much, nothing is safe.

Having three adult children gainfully employed with their own roof over their heads. Nothing about hunting was ever about being happy.

No, but the landowner shouldn't be able to tell the leaseholder either, unless he owns that property also.

Last year for the first time in a long time I had someone regularly hunting my place with me and I really enjoyed having the company and having some someone around to talk hunting with.

This is what it's all about.

Hunting in general makes me happy. The enjoyment is amplified if I see a deer. Even more so if I see multiple deer. And even more than that if I see or kill a big buck. But killing a doe for the freezer still gets me jacked. Being picky on my own land makes me happy because I rarely ever had private land to hunt growing up. Maximum enjoyment in the deer woods for me is killing a 3+ year old buck on public land, packing it back to the truck and knowing I outsmarted not just the deer but the other folks out there hunting them.

Dove hunting to start the season is a blast. I have a damn good time small game hunting and walking in the woods after deer season is out. I suck at turkey hunting but still enjoy it. And I thoroughly enjoy eating everything I kill (minus coyotes because I’m just not that hungry to eat one).

If the enjoyment of getting out in the woods and hunting ever starts to solely hinge on inches of antler or killing a limit, then I’ll probably quit hunting.

Planting plots and seeing deer use them and seeing a few deer from the stand all along is a bonus. Getting a few good ones on camera and then hoping to see them when it counts. Hunting with my sons.. hearing the excitement in their voices when they describe what they saw, whether they got a shot or not. Seeing my wife excited about our boy's stories and what they kill.. and her taking pics and scrapbooking all their hunt memories. Killing 2 or 3 deer to eat on all year long. Getting a chance to shoot a target deer on your own place - all of it is making good memories that I hope they all remember one day sitting around a campfire after I've gone to Glory.

I love the Biblical stewardess of hunting. Working the land, planning, preparation, and finally the killing. I have a 91 year old widow at church. Her late husband was a huge hunter. Bringing her some venison "takes her back" to times with her husband. My 16 year old and I love seeing the joy on her face and listening to her stories. Take something, give something.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

I saw more rack bucks this year than I have ever seen, not just on my lease, but in general.

What makes me happy is a good buck race and killing a legal deer every now and then.

I like 5yr old bucks and prefer them to be 140plus but that dont happen all the time so I enjoy the process of trying to make it happen even when its not happening. On the flip side, I love to be involved when someone gets their first deer regardless of the size or sticking and old doe with my bow. Shoot, I enjoyed putting a shooting house up this past weekend but my back hurts....

My heart still kicks into high gear whenever I see a deer. Been like that for over 30years. At this point in my hunting life Im just happy to be out there in nature and seeing all the cool stuff about it. I will kill a doe every once in a while and if I shoot a buck its going to be a nice one or it walks. What everyone else does is up to them. I could care less.
