How high can you get using your current setup? What setup do you have? Number of sticks etc etc. I been looking at getting into saddle hunting but have a lot of questions. One of my main concerns is getting to the height that I need to be at. I hunt public land that is thick as hell in some places and I routinely have to get 30 feet and higher at times to be able to see down into it. If I can't get to whatever height I need to be the benefit of less weight/gear won't help me versus using my climber.

I use a single stick and the only limiting factor is how long your rope is. Mine is 40’. You are welcome to come get my stuff and try it if you want.

I might take you up on that at a later time. Right now I'm in the research phase. Just wanted some real world knowledge as to if my requirements were possible.

What little bit of deer hunting I do is in the Mobile Tensaw Delta or the Mississippi delta. I like it because I can climb any tree, no matter how big or small, or how many limbs. When you are done hunting, just drop your stick down and repel down.
