Yep. Got me wanting to buy some crab claws and some lump crab meat 🤤
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

That’s some count and nice move with the claws!!!! I always have claws in my seafood gumbo. Helps with the flavor to me. Maybe it’s just in my head. Sometimes I’ll put a crab split and cleaned in there too and just let it soak while it simmers.

The seafood capital of Alabama. Bayou La Batre. But all the supermarkets around here have em. Not sure if they do that in alabaster. I have used canned claw meat and canned lump before too. It’s not bad with that. I could barely tell the difference honestly. Usually it’s still $20-25 dollars a can so it’s not really cheaper to use it so I just use fresh. Between the crab claws, claw meat and lump meat, you can easily have $75 just in crab meat. By the time you add shrimp and all the good stuff I will usually be around $110 a pot. That pot will feed a dozen people though. Where did you get the claws?
