Meaning that it wouldn’t matter that our season is nearly 4 months long if we didn’t gun hunt the rut……Its as much a matter of which days you gun hunt as how many…..Simply shortening the season wont matter if you don’t cut out the right days……Some days matter more than others……Feb days for north Alabama are not peak rut days but they’re likely secondary rut days for many as well as being vulnerable feeding times. Outside of the prime rut days these Feb days are probably the most bang for you buck to cut out for zone A



decreasing opportunities would go a lot further than having damn tags . i dont get it , hunters want to limit the number killed but they want to give hunters more opportunities to kill deer . you aint gonna have more deer by making it easier to kill deer .
