Would you pay $100 an acre for 25 acres in a prime location??.....Long skinny rectangle that could hunt 2-3 folks if you wanted to divide up the cost…..3 acre greenfield and multiple feeder locations…..Bordered on 3 sides by a large high end trophy club in a top tier county…….Potential to kill numerous good bucks per year depending on your standards. Is it worth $100 an acre to have great “spot”?

$2500 is a 2-3 day low fence management buck hunt in South Texas, not counting tip for the guides and staff.

If it was close enough to hunt whenever the wind was right, then yeah, I probably would, and I would plan to stay away from it anytime that the wind wasn't ideal.

Depends on location and if it has deeded access....I probably would if it was 20-30 minutes drive time from where I live....

The only way I’d pay that is if it’s in the middle of Lee Lakowsky’s. Anything else ain’t worth it, they’re definitely ain’t no where in this state worth it to me.

Same here. I like some small places like this that are overlooked by people. Sometimes in the right spot a little 20 acre block in the right location can be fire for some good deer hunting. Access and low pressure is key

No, first would be too boring to hunt that little strip. Second, if it was bordered by a big club on three sides, they could easily cut you off on a TINY piece of land like that.

Just wouldn’t seem right to me. But I’d take a couple acres in the right spot but not at $100 an acre. I can think of a lot more game animals at more interesting to me.

I look at it this way. My 6 acre duck hole sits on a 22 acre partial. I sure as heck don’t see putting another person on it.

There's about a 10 acre wedge behind me that I would pay $2500/yr to lease. So yea, I would pay it for the right 25 acres

I’m looking at leasing 80 acres just to control what’s shot off it and to get MUCH better access to a portion of public land. I’m a go with $10.25 an acre but anything over $15 would be a no-go. I wouldn’t pay $100/ if it wasn’t part of a rent-to-own.

If that’s the asking price. The owner must know it’s good maybe he will get it. You sure would have to keep it low pressure. 25 acres long rectangle. Probably hunting the lines would be a have to. No I’d pass

Not just no but H#!! NO! Who in their right mind would pay $100/acre to lease land anywhere in the world. I guess it’s true. A fool and his money will soon be parted.
