I've owned a 22 mag. A Marlin bolt action. I also own a 17HMR, and one or 15 .22 LR's. The 22 mag packs more punch than either of the others, but the accuracy at 100 yards can't compete with either, or at least the one I owned and the ones that I have shot, can't.
I've never had a Hornet but I have always wanted one. Love my hornets, just hard to get ammo for them.
