At that price point I say go for it.....
Think about it like this at that price point they have the best warranty on the market IF something did happen. That is an unknown but that's got to be a selling point.
I bought a $100 pair of Vortex Binos recently for a kid and I don't think you could get another $100 set of Binos any better from someone else. Pretty darn good.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I have the crossfire 2 and I love it for the money. It’s clear, holds zero, picks up light good. I have no complaints My Savage 110 came with a 4x12-42 crossfire II. It seems to be a clear scope that captures light well in low light situations. I dont have any complaints either. Welll, maybe 1. I wish it would have clicks when adjusting. Kind of have to guess how far you dial it up or over.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

That’s the only thing I don’t like about my Leupold Freedom- you definitely don’t hear an audible click and you barely can tell if it clicked in another slot or anything.

I've had a a couple. Still have one on a 7-08. It clicks but is "mushy" for lack of a better word. All I've mounted/owned have been that way They are supposed to be click adjustable.
I had 2 Crossfife gen 1 models and both had to go back to Vortex for warranty. They replaced them with Gen II scopes.
I have more vortex scopes than ay other brand. Other than the original Crossfire line which you practically can't find anymore, the only one I've had a problem with was the Copperhead. It was junk and I didn't even want to warranty it so I took it back to SImmons for a refund

A few of my buddies have the Crossfire IIs. They really like them. They Burris fullfield IIs are also great budget friendly scopes also.

What about the Vortex Diamondback? I think I’m going to go with it, I found a good deal The Diamondback HP and Diamondback Tactical are decent scopes. The original Diamondback, not so much. Totally different erectors and lenses.

Like Gundoc I own more Vortex optics and anything else by a large margin. I own several Trijicon (ten mile, accupoint), Zeiss, and a few Sightmarks. I believe Vortex is the best bang for your buck in the $100-400 (on sale) price point.
