Set 9 DP's yesterday. Will move them around & pick them up around March 1st. I would love to trap coyote, bobcats and fox but would catch every yard dog in a 10 mile radius.
If you have that many yard dogs running your property then catching them may be just what you need to do Use offset jaw traps and teach them to stay away via the sore foot method
You are speaking the truth. I have 4 labs that are kennel dogs. They are good 99% of the time but once a year one will go on a walkabout. Same guy who owns the yard dogs has her in his yard or calls me to come get the pup. It isn't worth it to have him mad about sore footed dogs.
