This has been the least amount of deer hunting I have done in my lifetime.
Maybe 3 hunts over an hour, 2 hunts 40 minutes or less, and 2 hunts 20 minutes or less for the whole deer season.
Also saw a minimal amount of deer as well, which is not the norm.

Honestly, with all the busyness and changing going on, I'm ok with it.

This is the best deer I saw while hunting this year, and the best hunt on one of the hour plus hunts.

Good deer. I’m the opposite in that I hunted more this year than I have in probably 4 years. Tons of deer seen. More bucks than I’ve seen in all of my 30 years hunting. I saw bucks early in the season as well. I had a lot of time to go this season but who knows about next season. I let a lot of bucks walk so, maybe I’ll have a wall hanger next season. Think I’ll get a bow and try to catch one before all the lead starts flying next season.

Kind of a “middling” season for me. Not the best. Not the worst.
Killed a 7 and a doe.

This was the best season I’ve had in years. Killed 7 does, a 5 point cull deer, and a mature 9 point and a , mature 10 point.

I probably hunted less than I normally do just because of more important things to do, kids keep us on the run but I managed to kill 2 nice 8 points and some does. Think I only went 3-4 times that didn’t see anything so it was a great year. Thankful for another season to chase em and looking forward to turkey season

I’m happy but I killed most of my deer in December this season. I usually enjoy hunting the rut in Crenshaw county but by the time it started I already killed 5 deer between FL and AL and my freezer was full. Really missed out on big bucks in rut this season due to breakdown of side by side and death of my close friend’s father. Happy I was more selective passing on bucks I probably would’ve shot in past years. The Lord blessed me with a nice 7 point buck and 4 does including 2 in FL thanks to FWC finally coming to their senses on D2 zone private land antlerless deer harvest limits. Overall a great season. Oh and I got to duck hunt for the first time in 20 years. Forgot how fun it was. Lost about 6 days of AL deer season duck hunting.
