I was a fan in the 90’s. Then I met Speedy on a Life Hunt for kids with disabilities and life threatening illnesses. He didn’t say a word to the families, kids, or guides. He just got his box of free hunting gear and took off to the woods. He was supposed to be a celebrity guest. He sucked as a celebrity guest. I'd say so 🤣

Those two could talk four hours about a doorknob. Every once in a while, they could hit on something interesting, but it was not worth 4 hours listening about a doorknob to get there. Doorknobs have feelings too. Never was much of a fan but for a time in the mid-2000's I did listen to them on the drive to the office but then I stopped for no particular reason. I guess their show got boring to me.

Rick lives to hear himself talk to much to ride off into the sunset. He'll be running his mouth somewhere as long as anyone will listen.

I heard a lot of unpleasant things about Speedy when he was building a house many years ago.

Rick lives to hear himself talk to much to ride off into the sunset. He'll be running his mouth somewhere as long as anyone will listen. This^^^ Mrs. Irish listens to them in the morning. She was born and raised in Gadsden and grew up listening to them on the radio, now she listens to them on Youtube in the mornings. I usually go upstairs to my office loft and work. I still miss TC and John Ed in the mornings.

Rick lives to hear himself talk to much to ride off into the sunset. He'll be running his mouth somewhere as long as anyone will listen. He made it clear that he would be doing some for of a show in 2025 and may have some of the other members with him. Bubba seemed to be at a loss today. To me it looked like Rick was the only one ready for it to end and move on. Bubba said he didn’t know what he would do but they both said they were not retiring. For someone who likes the show seems odd to me.

Never cared for their show, so doesn’t bother me.

I've listened to them since they started, I would say that overall, the good outweighs the bad. I remember how good Rick thought he was in football though, (legend in his own mind ) I played against both of them back in the day(Greg and Rick), and I also played baseball against Bubba when he was at Jacksonville. Now, I'll give Bubba some credit cause he was a pretty descent ballplayer...My biggest problem with the show is ...If that dang Rick ever gets fired up about a particular subject, he'll drive it in the ground (usually either Religion or politics). Thats normally when I cut them off, cause that crap got on my nerves...Another thing that twerked me about Rick is that he thinks he's Freddy Mercury or something because every chance he gets he tries to sing over the top of any of the music clips they play that he knows the words to. His goofy band(Mr. Lucky) done failed back in the 80's, you would think that he could take a hint from that and put together that NOONE wants to hear him sing.... .

I used to listen to them a lot…..but somewhere around the Obama years, they became obsessed with taking politics on their show. I generally agreed with them politically but damn, there’s only so much you can say before it just becomes beating a dead horse. Literally just saying/talking about the same stuff, day after day after day after day after day…..it got tiresome, so I mostly bailed on them. Still listen occasionally but not a ton
So in other words....Rick and Bobby is the same as Aldeer?
I had much rather be tried by twelve than carried to my grave by six!!!!

Nah Aldeer is good people. When Rick's daughter came out he has ignored her ever since. Kinda cruel. That's her version. His version is that he and his wife told her that they would always love her, would be there for her, and that she would always be a welcomed member of the family, but they could never condone her lifestyle, and they would never allow her to bring a same-sex "partner" in their home, and that because of their hardline stance, she has chosen to have little to do with them. I don't know any of them personally, but from everything I've read and listened to about the situation, I'm inclined to believe him
