How old is this fellow? I would think around 3. Not the best pictures but the best I can do.

I bid 4...maybe 5 just looking at his body.

He’s definitely a bigger deer. He’s got that brisket out there too. Lean on the belly though. No sway back and just about a rectangle body. We have probably 5-6 that look just like that one. I had a 7 pt come out that wasn’t much bigger body wise but twice the horn size. Possibly a year older or found better feed last year. This deer is a very aggressive animal.

The shoulders look way too thick to be a 3 year old in my opinion. I think the buck is 4.5

If he had a better rack, he would have been dead. I’ve got two styles of deer in that area. Short ones with small racks and long ones with larger racks. Most of the short ones have that crab claw type rack. The longer ones have more of a cemetrical rack.
