Surprised the Cotton Row hasn't been mentioned. It is $$$$ though. Wife and I spent the night in Hville on our way back from Nashville. We had New Years Eve dinner at Cotton Row. It was as good as anything down here in Bham. Excellent food. Excellent service and yes, the prices reflect all of that.

Rosie’s cantina. Hard to beat! I like them & Phil Sandoval's & can't tell any differene between them.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Rosie’s cantina. Hard to beat! I like them & Phil Sandoval's & can't tell any differene between them. I don’t understand why people like either of those places. Both are crappy to me. Edible, but not fantastic like some people make it out to be.

Edible, but not fantastic like some people make it out to be. Tend to agree, but it's consistently good IMO. Not great, but better than decent. I don't think there's anything about it that separates it from any other Mex restaurant in town though. El Cazador on S Pkwy might be an exception. Will say I got nothing for Bandito Burrito.
