Had a friend of mine that had a bunch of them on his knees and shins when he was younger (10yrs old or so)...I remember he was getting out of a pool and scraped his knee and shin on the concrete and raked a bunch of them off and they started bleeding....Prior to that he had been in and out of dr.s offices to no avail, so his parents had heard about an old black woman around Oxford, that could conjure them off... ![shocked shocked](/forum/images/graemlins/default/shocked.gif) She took a small piece of thread and laid it around on the wart and then would tied a knot around it and cinch it up ( It wouldnt actually tie around the wart, she just went around the wart and got it to the same diameter) She'd say a few words and put each piece of thread in a small box and say to him, "You have got to believe this will work, you've got to.... other wise it will not"...2 to 3 weeks later he is wart free and hadnt had another one since... Similar deal in my brother’s situation. String, some words were spoken and then the string was buried. It worked.

I had some on my knee and on my thumb around the 6th grade. My grandfathers brother seen them one day, and asked did I want to get rid of them, I said of course. (We had went to the doctor at this point and they NEVER went away)
He rubbed a penny on them, them and threw the penny off into the yard. He said they will be gone shortly. It was during the summer. About 2-3 weeks went by and they turned black and fell off and I have not any since.
True Story. Old man is dead and gone now, but he sure done me a solid.
I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

A good whack with a framing hammer will do it. True story .... I had a wart for years on my left thumb next to the nail. When building my house in 1992 I whacked it with a hammer . It busted open and bled like a stuck hog. When it healed , wart was gone , never came back. That's not far from the method used to get the off cattle. If cows have warts, all you gotta do is get it in the head catch, and take a pair of lineman's pliers, squish them between the pliers and twist them off. Not all of them, just a few. I was told that by squishing them with the pliers that it forces something out of the wart, to produce antibodies and by twisting the warts off it does something else, but you gotta do both. An old vet told me that when I was a kid. We were at a show steer sale at Berry College and a calf came through that was COVERED in warts. Dang good calf otherwise. He told my dad and I that, and my dad bought the calf for near of nothing. We did what he said and within a month his hide didn't have a blemish on it that you could see through the hair. I didn't know to question it, I just did it, and it worked. It has worked on a handful more cattle since then.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Caused by a virus. They don't have seeds. Bunch of different kinds of warts. Weird stuff like tape and coins and hammers and acid works but the virus still is there. https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/plantar-warts-palmar-warts

On a sorta related note, Iodine will cure athletes foot or ringworm quicker than any medication sold for that purpose.
When I was in the 7th grade I got some nasty, nasty athletes foot. Nasty, as in my momma took me to the doctor to get something for it. Two prescriptions later, it was still bad. It was so bad that I had to soak my feet in the bathtub when I got home from school, to loosen my socks from the wet skin on top, so I didn't pull the skin off.
I was in the barn one Sunday afternoon and walked past a jug of iodine cleaner/disinfectant that we used on cow stuff. It said, "Antifungal" fight there on the label. I decided to pour some on top of my raw feet. It burned like a mutha for a long, long while, but one treatment, and it was gone. Two prescriptions and months of issues, all solved by one trip to the barn.
Thanks to math heads, you can't buy the good stuff anymore. You can still buy the tincture, but it takes several applications.

It sounds like Furflyin should start an “alternative” medicine clinic. Your slogan could be “the cure is gonna hurt like hell, but you’ll be cured for good” ![rofl rofl](/forum/images/graemlins/default/roflmao.gif)

You got to cut it down to the seed, then freeze the piss out of it. Had on on my thumb for years, finally cut it down to the seed and used a whole damn bottle of that freeze stuff and it finally got rid of it.

Just go to a tattoo parlor and have them tattoo a titty around it and make it the nipple. You won't mind it at all. Then he'll get warts on his tongue.

I had a 102 year old woman that lived up the holler from us one time that told everyone to eat a tube of Vagisil and that would get rid of them. Can't confirm or deny that it will work I've never laid hands on a tube of that stuff myself but I know a bunch of y'all got one handy. Give it a try and let us know.

Go to a dermatologist. Much less intrusive than some of the “remedies” seen suggested here.

I had a wart on my shoulder that would irritate the hell out of me from rubbing against my shirt. Luckily my Dad was a surgeon. He gave me a shot of Novocain to numb it, then 10 minutes later he hyphrecated it with a device that looked like a soldering iron. It stunk like hell but worked like a charm.
