Out to about 300 yards it's hard to beat a Leupold in all areas of quality. Now you want to kill at 500,600,700 yards yes a Nightforce,Schmit & Bender,etc. are the ticket. But WHO can consistently hit a Deer sized target that far unless they have Sniper Training??.....
Something tells me you never owned a 74hunnerd ‘Ought-Six with see thru scope mounts and a 3-9x Widefield…. A fella could shoot a gnat off a tick dick at 1250yds in gale force winds with that setup and some 150gr CoreLokts
