I've been using the Magellan Outdoors brand from Academy Sports and have been very pleased with the price, performance and quality.

Grundens can be hot in the summer but you won’t get wet!

I was given a Frogg Toggs hoodie and pant outfit. It's lightweight, "cheap", and keeps me warm on cold days and dry on wet days.

Most of my club either has the AFTCO suit or the 100MPH suit from Bass Pro.

Pretty sure I bought a bass pro, pro qualifier from a member here. Best one I’ve ever owned

I have breathable grundens and they are great (even in summer). My advice is whatever you choose, get bibs. Rain pants will not keep you nearly as dry.

That’s me you bought it from. It’s a dang good one. If it wasn’t for gaining weight then I’d still have it.

The ice fishing suit that I bought 4-5 years ago is 100% waterproof and windproof. It also floats. If you’re talking about a cold weather option then I would look no further than an Arctic Armor suit. You can catch them on sale for around $200 if you keep an eye out. They are machine washable as well. When it’s in the 20’s or low 30’s you still need to layer a little under them. If you do, you will not get cold, and you won’t get wet

Need some myself. Had some frog toggs that developed a mildew smell that you just couldn't wash away, so i burnt 'em

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

I have a frog togg suit that I wear offshore in the winter. Bibs and a jacket. Not the paper crappy stuff but a heavy duty set. It works well but it only protects against wind. It’s not insulated or anything.

I've had pro qualifier bibs and jacket from bass pro for 12 years and wear them often. Still in great shape. Some of the best money I've spent.

The h20 express from academy is a good one. I've had two sets last me 10 years

I have the Magellan as well and it does fine but I would like to have something different for the cold cold weather. If I was going to be out with temps over 40 the Magellan is all I need.

I use it as a windbreaker/rainsuit and then layer other clothes under it for when it gets real cold.
