Milroe doesn’t pass anywhere near well enough to play in DeBoer offense. Sure as heck gonna have to learn to throw it over the chains when he’s flushed… ^^^^^^^^^ this

Abolt, if you add sacks and QB runs after being flushed from the terrible pocket he was asked to pass in… he would be over 30 PA per game. Thats not bad. So they asked him to throw the ball around 31 times per game. No it’s not 40. But be honest… was attempting to throw the ball 40 times per game with that offensive line going to be super productive? No. Milroe spent more time in the pocket than nearly all college QB's (if not all, can't find the stat now. He was second most late in the season). Hard to blame the offensive line for not passing more. They can't protect him forever. He is ok but his mental processing isn't good enough to be an elite QB or a high quality game manager type QB. He just made up for most of his mistakes and that is a double edge sword in and of itself.

But remember how bad Joe Burrow was the year before he won it? Bo Nix was horrible at Auburn and had a legitimate chance to win the Heisman this year.
