Well we all know that Saban and Rees did not trust Milroe to throw the ball around 40 times a game for sure. Milroe averaged throwing the ball a whopping 21.8 times a game. You'd think if he was a decent QB, that number would've been almost double that 21.8 times per game. Now why do you think that was........? I doubt the new coach will trust Milroe to throw it either. It'd be a solid bet that Saban told Simpson to stay and he'd be getting his shot to compete against Milroe, Lonergan, and Sayin, and that Milroe was guaranteed absolutely nothing in 2024, based on his play in 23.
