In the grand scheme of things, I wonder if it means anything that Bama actually can spend their money on a coach. All the recent headline coaching searches have focused.s on how much the school can pay the new coach, having to keep in mind that they have to pay a fair (huge) amount to their LAST mistake (and in at least one case, while they are still paying off the mistake before that......
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

Remember, whild bill called it first. This!! Excuse me... I posted this 20 hours ago when everyone was saying it was a done deal on Lanning. I am almost 100% certain it will be Lane Kiffin. Kiffin will be like a kid in a candy store with the talent that he will be able to get at Alabama. He took Ole Miss to an 11 win season this year. That's almost unheard of.
Unlike some, I'm not betting the farm on it, but if it's not Lane I will be very surprised.
