Its gona be Kiffin. Saban said he plans to stay around the program and help as much as he can. That means its somebody with ties to the program. Lanning already said he wasnt leaving oregon, Quinn ewers just announced hes coming back to tx so id assume sark told him he was staying in texas. Last two with saban ties are kirby and kiffin. Kirby aint leaving georgia.
I agree. Kiffin aināt my first choice but heāll make a great coach

Y'all remember, Saban denied he was coming to Bama right up until he stepped out of the plane in Tuscaloosa. All coaches do it. Jimbo was staying at FSU and on and on. Especially now, with the new transfer portal rules. The portal is currently closed, but just as soon as it is announced that your coach is leaving, the portal immediately opens for your players, for 30 days. The school for whichever coach Bama decides to poach, is going to be in a pickle, unless AL agrees to give them a little time to get their affairs in order and also be close to having a coach hired, so that they can salvage/save as much of their recruiting class as possible. In fact, with the new transfer portal rules in place, it is probably now a point of negotiation between schools with regard to contract buyouts. ie. "We're taking your coach but we wont announce anything official for a week or 10 days, if you'll eat 30% of that buyout penalty." Personally, I still think it is Lanning, just because if he tells his players he's taking the Bama job, they will start leaving the program and if he is an honorable guy, he will not want to see harm done to the school and program that he is leaving. Might be him, might be Kiffin, might be Dabo, might be Kelly. It's all speculation at this point but Vegas says it's a done deal and whomever the deal is done with is not saying a word because it'll cause a mass exodus at whatever school he is leaving.

I think Dabo would be the best choice,heās proven he can win, over the past 16 years hes 170-43 at Clemson with 2 titles, hes also played in two other NC games, who has a better resume over the past 15 years? Heās also a great person who brings no drama or past with him. I agree with your statement. But he hates the NIL and doesnāt want to confirm on that. They better find find someone that knows and does it well like kiffin. Dabo recent decline is highly because of NIL and the portal

It's one thing to be evasive to reporter; you can't lie to your team. Lanning is out; if he was ever in.

I agree. Kiffin aināt my first choice but heāll make a great coach i think he will do very well at Alabama. One of the great offensive minds in football. Outstanding recruiter at ole miss, and the best to do it in the transfer portal. I think he will be able to continue the standard that Saban created.

It's one thing to be evasive to reporter; you can't lie to your team. Lanning is out; if he was ever in. Every big name coach that has changed schools in the last 20 yrs has done it and they will continue to do it. Not saying it is right by any means, but it is the approved and normal course of action used by all, in every single case that I can think of. Deals fall apart and until everything is 100% finalized, the coach may know what is happening but absolutely, as far as the team is concerned, they will be told he's staying, right up until he meets with the team for the final time, before boarding the plane to leave for his new school. I'd be happy with either Kiffin or Lanning. Lanning is more stable IMO, but Kiffin relates better to the players and has proven he can recruit and compete in the SEC. SI ran an article an hour ago saying that pundit Greg McElroy says Kiffin is out. We will all know when it is officially announced. It'll be a big name coach, who will have repeatedly denied that he is coming to Bama.
