Does anyone have any experience with the EL Range series? Looking at the 10x42. I have a pair of the 10x42 NL Pure & 12x50 EL and they are wonderful binoculars. I am just wanting the range-finding capabilities & ballistic but curious if anyone has played with one?

What size do you have? How is low light? Only thing “Leica” I own is rangefinders. If their bino’s & scopes are anything like the rangefinders, I have zero problem going that route.

For low light, the 12x50 EL are the one and only. If they made them in the Range series I’d be getting them.

The leica geovids are excellent in low light and the range finder will range great in low light.
I ranged a deer out in bean feild over 200yds away 15 miss before legal shooting light last year just to see if it would.

I have the 10x42 el range and 10x42 leica. The leica are 8 years old I think they have been replaced with a newer model. Both range, the el are superior to the leica. At dark thirty the el stand out.

I have a pair of 10x42 EL's non-range and they are great. They are the original model that Swarovski first came out with in the EL line. I have looked through the EL Range in 10x42 and they appear to be the same as my EL's.

I had a pair of Zeiss 10x42 Range and I wasn't as impressed with the low light capabilities as my EL's.
