Got here to bullock late. Didn’t get in stand til 330. Had 2 does bedded down in the hayfield 50 yards from this new ground stand I put up. At 4pm a real nice wide 6pt strolled across the powerline about 200 yards away. I was tempted. Just had another doe feed across my dirt plot. God bless her. If she found even a mouthful of grass she was fortunate.

I ended up seeing 16. 1 nice 6pt, wide like Mansfield (congrats by the way!), a bunch of does and a pretty 8pt right at the ears. It was a good day.
