The largest casino in the world is literally in the middle of nowhere, 100 miles from Dallas, a parking lot full of Texas plates. jwalker77, Ketamine is basically a anesthetic for surgery that in lower doses produces a dissociative (separated from reality) state. Doctors noticed that a lot of their patients who were put to sleep using Ketamine commented on their reduction of depressive symptoms after their surgery. Some even claimed total remission of symptoms. I heard about it and decided to give it a try, amazing what you will do with Nothing to lose. I did 6 one hr infusions by IV in my arm in about 12 days. Previous drug experience was pretty much alcohol and weed. When they turned the drip on I was in a full blown hallucinogenic experience in no time. Since then I do a treatment about every 4-6wks for the last couple of years. I have had good trips and I have had bad trips ( K hole). Bad trips are absolutely no fun. I have learned what helps me avoid bad trips, mood going in for the infusion is important. Type of music on headphones, super important. Chill and no words is best for me. Found out the hard way “Appetite For Destruction” is not good Ketamine music for me. Honestly, for the most part I don’t like the experience. Definitely not something I crave. BUT- I have never found ANYTHING that helps me like Ketamine. Not even close. They say somehow😁 Ketamine is able to repair damaged neural pathways in people who suffer from Depression, OCD, PTSD and other mental illnesses. It definitely changes mine for the better. Unfortunately, it’s not a permanent effect for most but I will take what I can get and hope for better. Anyhow, that’s my experience. I wrote too much, Delta 8 kicked in😁

I took thc gummies to help with me depression. They are probably the only reason I'm still alive none of the drugs the doctors put me on ever did anything but make me feel worse. I don't take the gummies any more but if things ever get back like they were ill definitely start taking them again. Also I was taking them in very very small doses right before bed.
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Like walker said grow ur own . I have never used any kind of drugs of any kind EVER , but my wife had 2 neck fusions , suffers from daily migraines an cannibis does help . Will not buy from anyone . Too much crap out there nowadays. Not ashamed to admit I grow it myself. I look at it like growing maters . I may be in jail one day but i would do anything hep my wife . She don’t smoke it . Makes brownies an gummies . Uses it on the bad migraine days . You be surprised how many folks does this in your neighborhood you live in. I'm here where it's legal and know a migraine sufferer that pot does absolutely nothing for.

On the reservations they teach Casino Management, Card and Dice dealing, and general Hospitality service, as part of the regular high school curriculum. Just about every casino tourist trap in the country have employees from a tribe in Oklahoma.

It's nobody's business what I put or don't put in my body, just like it was with the clot shot. Hate to say it...but, if someone is "flyin' high" and driving a vehicle/equipment...it is the public's business. One person might be fine but another so high they get crazy on the road. Maybe injure someone bad on a job site with heavy equipment. I don't care what folks do at home and for sure cancer patients etc really need it. Behind the wheel is a whole different story. Well obviously, which is why we have laws and enforcement against such behavior. But, my point is no one blinks an eye that not only are you allowed to manufacture, transport, possess, and consume alcohol...99% of the people in this state purchase every drop from the government. However, when it comes to a little plant with such a lower risk profile, we buy into the fear campaign so quickly. Maybe it's all bull sh*t? No one carried about cannabis until William Randolph Hearst lobbied to criminalize it because turns out cannabis makes good pulp for newspapers and he had invested in timber/wood pulp. He was losing big money due to cannabis growers, look it up. Just like the clot shot and Pfizer/Moderna...the money talked.

Just about every casino tourist trap in the country have employees from a tribe in Oklahoma. Ya they really take advantage of it, I ain't hating. Yes, Winstar is what I am referring too. Place is as big as the Galleria mall in Hoover. I used to have to go there a lot to catch concerts. They would pay artists a King's ransom and make them sign a non-compete that they wouldn't play within 100 miles for the next 12 months. I thought all casinos were that big until I visited others and I was like, this is it? I just think it's weird the way we pick and choose what we get worked up about. The Republican party has definitely taken a libertarian turn in the last decade which is probably the only reason anyone under 40 cares about the GOP. The dems have taken a more authoritarian and "morality police" (woke is a form of messed up morality) turn. My position is things like this should be decided on the local level as much as possible. I may not want to live next to pot dispensary or casino, but it doesn't mean I need to have a draconian state-wide law against it. Let the individual communities decide. Hell, I've driven through Bessemer and parts of Bham that definitely could use the revenue. People would drive in spend their money and boost the economy just like they do on the reservations.

Be honest, pot is not without problems. It’s not no risk drug. It’s not the same it once was. Not even close https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8504499/ Potential Health Hazards from High Potency Marijuana Researchers have found marijuana to be an addictive drug.8 Brain scans of marijuana users show changes in the structure of the brain’s reward center to be consistent with addiction9 and up to 47% of regular users experience withdrawal symptoms when they cease use.10
The National Institute on Drug Abuse reports that around 30% of marijuana users have some form of marijuana use disorder and that people who begin using marijuana before the age of 18 are four to seven times more likely to develop a marijuana use disorder compared with those who start later.11 One recent study on rats found that marijuana vaping may support “conditioned drug-seeking behavior,”12 a cause for concern as vaporized marijuana gains popularity.
Studies have also found marijuana use can cause severe consequences for mental health. Marijuana is increasingly linked to the onset of psychosis and schizophrenia13 and shows a more modest association with depression and anxiety.14 In one of the most comprehensive studies to date on marijuana and psychosis, Di Forti, et al. found that daily marijuana use is associated with an increased likelihood of developing psychosis. What’s more, researchers found that daily users of high potency marijuana have four times greater odds for the development of psychosis.15
Frequency of marijuana use, as well as higher THC potency, is associated with the most severe impact on mental health, which is evidenced by psychosis, suicidality, reshaping of brain matter, and addiction.16 The increasing demand for high-potency marijuana products and the coinciding prevalence of marijuana use disorder are indicative of a future maelstrom with unknown consequences for public health, especially as the industry engages in a concerted effort to undermine scientifically proven risks of marijuana use.

No doubt it is a completely different drug these days than it was 30 years ago. I'd still wager all I've got that it pales in comparison to alcohol when we are talking mental and physical health implications. Society has just accepted alcohol abuse as normal.

Agree and but disagree. Some I know like myself rarely drink any more. 30-40 years ago I drank like a fish. I chose to not let it control me. I smoked too I chose not to let that control me. Cigs were another beast that did control me for way too many years. I finally got that monkey off my back. I’ve seen alcohol and or pot control folks. I didn’t see much different except how but both were equally bad when abused. One is not better or worse than the other if being honest. Those Problems with pot are coming to light since legalization.
It’s really all about abusing the substance, many times it is about self medicating to deal with other issues at the helm. There is much bigger underlying problem that is not given it’s due credit. The why matters.
Sugar is probably the most dangerous drug out there
My contention is not the medicinal qualities because there are those. It’s the funny stuff folks use to justify it by they want it and not being exactly truthful.

I can only say that at 56 years old I don't know a single person who has ruined their life or their health with marijuana by itself. I know dozens who have ruined both with alcohol. I'm sure there are some pot smokers that have ruined their lives with it but I've just never seen it myself.

I dont understand why yall dont just grow you some reefer, smoke it and keep your mouth shut about it. Jakethesnke, if you want to get high, you can pass the drug tests, its not hard. We ask our govt when we can hunt, what we can hunt, what ammo we can shoot it with and yall are worried to death about getting the govts permission to smoke weed. Jyst grow you some nd smoke it. You dont need anyones help or permission. The greatest ntion on earth has become a bunch of beggers. Oh please can we smoke weed, please please. Weve really come to a sad place in our countries history. I don't grow it because I don't want my house, bank account and everything I own getting seized and auctioned off by our government. And DHR take my kid. I quit smoking about 4yrs ago when my employer sold out. The new company is all about keeping low insurance rates so they test us often. I haven't been tested but I've seen many who have. If I hit something, the safety man will come escort you to the doctor to pee. These drug testing centers aren't like they use to be. They really check your pockets, boots and shirt for fake pee. It depends on the nurse I guess but from what I've seen, you have about a 20% chance of passing a cheated test these days. Who wants to carry a bottle of pee around with them at work all day and hope they can pull a test off. All the while keeping the temperature correct. It's not worth it. When I was younger, I didn't care. I didn't have a kid and I didn't get paid enough to care about losing my job. But now it's a different game. I get paid well, have lots of benefits and respect that I earned overtime. I can't make what I make anywhere else so I gave it up. Too many perks to lose. It's ridiculous, I just ordered a bottle of 90% alcohol by mail, delivered to my front door within 3 days but I'm not allowed to have weed. My post wasn't about me wanting to get high. I'm not embarrassed to tell the truth. I love getting high. I miss it everyday. Of course id like to get high and hopefully I will live long enough to see it go recreational here in Alabama so I can enjoy it legally and not worry about the repercussions. Again, people that have something to lose, can't get high.
