When he saw Ol Matt coming through the woods he knew he didn’t have a chance, the end was near, so he jumped off of the cliff and broke his neck. Committing Hara-Kari. Ol Matt’s a legend and all of those deer have heard the tales of the “Assassin in the Red Dress”.
Very good hunt and a very nice deer.

How long do you reckon he had been dead for? He didn't look overly stiff when yall were loading him up. He was stiff as a board. Got one lung and clipped an artery near the heart so he had been dead a while. I watched him crash before walking out, and a few minutes later heard him crash into some limbs and it stopped. I’m assuming that’s when he fell in the ditch. There were limbs all around him he had broken. I think if I had eaten supper that night and came back he’d been dead. The footage just bothered me. The arrow exited much farther forward than it looked in video.
