Anyone who really thinks Hugh Freeze will lead Auburn to the promised land really needs to look back at Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss and then Auburn’s history as a football program. If You evaluate those 2 things You will understand that Auburn maybe a better team in the future but odds are Heavily against Auburn being an Elite team. With Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC is really not going to do any favors for teams on the level of Auburn. The dude is flat kicking ass against Saban. The odds with 12 team playoff? I will take those odds. Keep on dreaming.

And let me add, Auburn has won one and played for one in 2010 and 13. Texas and OU haven’t won since 05 and 00.
We might be wildly inconsistent, but we have the pedigree to compete.

Hugh record at ole miss way - way way bettr than tubbys was at ole miss and tubby did good at au - it remains to b seen what he will do at au - but au way easier to win at than ole miss. Ole miss like 48th all time wins - au like 12th - au facility light years ahead - just factual - but hate away 😀
Heck we sucked this year - it still took a miracle hail mary for bama to win this year against us - now - bring the excuses 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It is good to see it does not take much for an Auburn football fan to hold onto hope but in reality the Auburn football program is mired in mediocrity. The school across the state is a True Blueblood in College football but keep on keeping up the hope that Your program will one day become a Blueblood of College Football.

What meaningful bowl has Auburn played in in the last few seasons? How many National Championship games has Your cross state rival played in, in just the last 5 seasons and won? Anything more need to be said?

What I am saying is that we will have the pieces to compete and we will be in the thick of it. It would take a fool not to see that. Freeze is a terrific recruiter. Unlike others we have had, he can actually coach. Remember, Saban begged the SEC to be able to hire him.

I know that Coach Freeze is a good coach and He will no doubt make the rivalry between Bama and Auburn football better and more competitive. Freeze and Saban are really good friends and go on family vacations together.

Freeze will end up forcing Saban, Smart, Kiffin, Kelly and Sark out of the SEC. After listening to cowboy and Burbank, im convinced Freeze will make the family forget the name of Shug Jordan and Pat Dye. Im thinking we should stay 1 step ahead and go ahead and rename the Stadium “Hugh Field at Freeze Stadium”……
If at first you dont succeed, You may not want to try parachuting

Their greatest coaches in their football programs history- Shug Jordan and Pat Dye accomplishments fall so short of what Bama’s greatest coaches- Bear Bryant and Nick Saban that they are not in the same Galaxy in football accomplishments that their really is No comparison and not worth even talking about. Auburn football fans want to make theirselves believe otherwise.

Narrow Gap, the gap is narrowing so your name is apropos to the conversation. The recruiting gap is what I'm referring to, which of course will lead to narrowing of the talent gap, which has been vast lately.......you get the picture. I saw a tweet one of the players put out that simply said, "We coming". I think he meant it.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

A guy said it that even won an SECC and NC and recruited at a very high level before crashing and burning. Saban still managed to outlast him, and is still winning championships. Meanwhile, this guy's unemployed, living off a huge buyout..

I can handle it well gap - hav no problem saying bama good if they are - truth is truth
For the AU guys - on3 saying we signed top wr group n country - lb and dl/edge was not too bad either - high number of skill players - most athletic class we signed n long time - may not b done - don't listen to massive hate - trending n right direction - the 3rd grade jabs will come the more positive it gets 😀🤣
Glad i always liked competition - especially when i played - made me bettr

Glad i always liked competition - especially when i played - made me bettr Yes sir TDog, Auburn football signed a better class than they have in last several years. The problem Auburn has is that Georgia and Alabama recruit at an Elite level and have for many years and are continuing to recruit at an Elite level. I know Y’all feel better over at Auburn with direction of football program and recruiting but Ya’ll have the Himalaya’s waiting ahead to climb to get to where Alabama and Georgia are and Alabama has been there in conversation for 15 years now and running.
