Looking for a simple, no frills, reliable 12 gauge. Something for my oldest son to tote with me for turkeys in the spring. Prefer semi but pump would do I reckon. Just seeing what’s out there before buying this one:

What y’all got?

Have an H&R Pardner pump I would be willing to part with if you're interested.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I got a slug gun I'll sell you. It's as heavy as a cinder block and feels about like shouldering a galvanized fence post, and kicks about as hard as Keri's boyfriend can punch, but I'll make you a good deal on it

If you have time I'd look around at some pawn shops first. I have found some steals in the last few years around christmas time.

Bought my son a never shot (as far as I can tell) 20 gauge Winchester SX3 for $400. Ive seen numerous Beretta A400s for $500 in good shape. Browning Golds (stay away from the 3.5s) can be found in that price range too. Not crapping on the Turkish knockoff guns, but why not look for a better one?

After saying that, slap I do have my dad's Russian Baikal MP-153 (3.5 inch 12) in excellent shape. Cycles perfectly, but POI is 5-6 inches high so for turkey you either have to aim low or put a rear sight on it.
