Yes, just back off on the bisquick, they will get dry.

Pro-Tip, use Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix rather than Bisquick. May try that. I added some sharp cheddar to them and that gave it a good taste. The sausage is still just about too hot for my taste but I’m not gonna waist it. Due to food allergies I made some with a “vegan” pancake mix, with maple jimmy dean sausage and that was really good.

Yes, just back off on the bisquick, they will get dry. Throw in a package of cream cheese, will fix the dry problem. Also will clump together easier.
