Things will work out and 1 SEC team will be in the playoffs. If Bama beats UGA then they will represent SEC in CFB playoff. That was a Top ten matchup between Texas and Bama. If Bama gets left out as a 1 loss SEC Champion it will send the message to just schedule cupcake games as UGA did and other schools since Strength of Schedule is not really a consideration.

Only way that Bama has a real shot is if Bama stomps a mudhole in Georgia (probably will not happen), Texas loses, Oregon beats Washington, and if FSU wins the ACC, then playoff committee has to decide that FSU, without Travis, no longer passes the eye test and leaves a 13-0 conference champion out of the dance. In that situation, Michigan and FSU are the only two undefeated teams and FSU without Travis is not the same team by a longshot. Then you've got Texas, Oregon, Washington, Ohio State, Georgia, and Alabama all sitting with one loss. Michigan is the only for sure team in. If they decide to let FSU in too, then Bama's chances to make it drop exponentially. Committee and most of America would love nothing more than for the SEC to be completely locked out of playoffs. If they have 2 open choices for one loss teams, I'm betting the two spots are filled by some combination of Washington, Oregon, Texas, and Ohio State. I just dont see it in the cards this year.

Florida State or Texas loses. I'm thinking both are going to lose.
Ohio State is out after Saturday.

f there is a way for them to do it, whoever brings in the most viewership and $$ will get the 4 spots. It's all about the money. The country may have SEC fatigue, but the folks filling their coffers could care less. Show me the money! It's definitely about the viewership and Texas, Washington, Michigan, Oregon, and Ohio State will all bring more viewers and $$$$ than Bama or Georgia, and that is exactly the problem. SEC is insanely popular in the SE, but the rest of the country hates the SEC, and that's where the big population centers are.

Personally I think if we take care of business against Georgia, Texas has to lose, Oregon has to lose and Florida State has to lose. If all that happens it will be 1. Michigan, 2. Washington, 3. Ohio State and 4. Alabama
I can agree with that but I think that Oregon beats Washington in the rematch and if it is a very close game, I could see the committee taking Ohio State over Bama and then taking both Oregon and Washington over both Texas and Bama which would be: 1. Michigan, 2. Ohio State, 3. Washington, and 4. Oregon. Either way, if Texas and Oregon don't both lose, and FSU somehow ends up the odd man out, Bama really has no way in.
