Increasing the property taxes.... here in the real world what happens is within a few generations the only people who own land in the State are the wealthy and Corporations.

That's really what you would be proposing when it comes to Alabama. There are a lot of poor people in this State, in fact we are covered up with them and there are many that own and live on rural property at or below the poverty line. They work at low paying jobs because there are no high paying jobs near them. They will lose their land so that someone can sit on their ass and collect Federal Checks and soak Alabama for Medicaid over here in Ensley.

That's reality.
