HillHunter OP 3 point H Joined: Dec 2021 Posts: 131 Shelby County	Well that flew by. It was a tough one for me. Two bad shots and a bunch a swirling wind days. Also fairly warm. Many moons ago I hunted exclusively with a bow but now tend to put it up for gun season and the addiction changes yet continues. Planning on hunting Corp land in west AL w shotgun this weekend. It’ll be new territory for me and haven’t used a shotgun in decades. Hoping for deer and pig. At any rate, hope y’all’s archery season was nice and hats off to those who will continue to go afield bow in hand for the rest of the season

jono23 14 point Joined: Nov 2014 Posts: 8,053 Huntsville	I only made it out 3 times, and one of those times I had to leave early. Weird beginning of hunting season for me. If I can get 1-2 deer with the rifle, I'll pick the bow back up. I enjoy it more.

I am new to bow hunting and have not yet shot one and i am going to try to before picking up the gun.
