With this average weather - i saving big field - wind wrong most week anyway ther - small field where good buck hitting lot is to wet to get too - for maybe thru next week caise we got lot rain coming - may just go back to bow lease and shoot that stupid doe with bow - there multiple idiots there from last year - really hate doing that - but think they snort most evenig there - she was not snorting at me yesterday

Saw 5 deer, 2 hen turkeys, a mink (or perhaps a long tailed weasel???), and a pile of squirrels. Passed on one of the smaller deer waiting on the full sized doe, but she fed off in the other direction. Had another opportunity on a doe, but she fed off.

Got a late start because I was in a hurry and didn't tie the boat to the trailer, so I got to take the polar bear plunge to retrieve my boat. So, that was awesome. A great day afield for sure.

Hope to see some kills today. They were definitely on their feet.

Saw a beaver, 5 otters, umpteen skwerls, and a bald eagle this morning. Back at it this afternoon in the mountains of Tuscaloosa.
