thx - us too! ๐ค big smiles this week ... iโve serviced the fluids & air filter & moving on to tires next week, along with a new alternator (thankfully itโs been converted to 12 volts but the alternator is toast)... after that, weโll be singing along with Craig Morgan ๐

Super A's are the best gardening tractors I know of. Got one myself. 49 model
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts,hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

welp, we pushed the ball over the goal line with the Farmall Super A - yesterday I traced every wire & continuity tested every single one - simplified the wiring to the coil, starter & alternator to reduce the problem down to a limited number of problems - found that the alternator, although it tested fine for a car, was the failure point on the tractor ... this morning we got a one wire 63 amp self-exciting Delco 10SI alternator put on the tractor (along with a volt meter wired in to measure voltage) & the charging system is working like a champ ... took it on a long ride & it didnโt skip a beat ...
outside of minor tweaks & improvements, the 1951 Farmall Super A is ready for work again ๐ฅณ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐ช๐ป

Thatโs awesome. My grandfather is an antique tractor guy. They are fun to deal with. It looks awesome. Paint it up and you will be ready to ride in the parade next summer
