My hunt got cut short and I had to climb down early. But, it was for VERY GOOD reason!!! My 6 year old son, Emory, was hunting with my Dad this afternoon and Emory killed his first buck!!! I got out of that stand as fast as I’ve ever climbed and took off towards the truck to go meet them!! Emory made a 125 DRT shot with my Dad’s rifle (he’s never shot that rifle). And with no tripod to hold the gun or earmuffs. We’ve had big hurdles in the past with him not wanting to shoot without earmuffs. Another special memory!!!
