Maybe a five footer? Thirty three horse I think would probably be working pretty hard in anything but light duty cutting.

Probably aught to just go back where you got the tractor and get the green bushhog that goes with it. Theyll sell you the one that fits it well

Frontier is a good brand we have had good luck with I have a 5’ for the 38hp Deere, a 6’ for the 55hp Deere and a 10’ Deere for the 85hp Deere. All have been trouble free. Frontier pricing won’t break the bank and the dealer is 3 miles from me. Keep the blades sharp!

I think the 1020's had something like 38HP at the PTO. If it's only light duty stuff a 6 footer would be fine IMO. A 5 footer will ofcourse give some margin for error.

Which brand are you talking about? Frontier is the only brand I’ve seen mentioned that I think seems to mainly design their hogs for lighter duty.

Just have to look at spec sheets to see. They range in cut capacity from 1"-4". Deere even sold green one as recently as 5 yrs ago that didnt even come with a stump jumper, just a blade bar. Landprides 12** series is light duty. 18/20 mid, 26/35 heaver duty.

5-footer is perfect for that size. Don't get a light duty. They're trash. Get at least medium.

If you buy a land pride, youll get the opportunity to pay 3x what the parts should cost to fix it. I have a 10ft landpride and everything on it is made specially to fit it. Universal joints cost $128, some almost identical but not exactly at the parts store are $28. The driveline costs $2200. I happened to find one aftermarket for $600 from a business in Fresno California. I just broke a flex coupler driveline on it, its $600. One exactly like it cost $200, except its a 6 tooth spline and i need a 20 tooth spline. I will never own anything else that says land pride on it.
