To the voters in the middle it still looks bad and most consider the GOP to be in a chaotic mess and they’re not wrong.
I don’t know how this shakes out but I bet it’s not good and hope the republicans don’t lose more ground. I prefer a slow crash not a nose dive.
The democrats are cohesive and pretty consistent. The republicans are a bunch of differing factions and not working. Whether one believes this or not but that is what mainstream leftist promote and they are piling on.
I do like the new speaker from what I can tell but Byron Donald’s would’ve checked boxes that brought the middle on board. The battle is not for republicans but those that claim to be independent and in the middle on most issues.
