This summer my favorite lump charcoal has doubled in price. Heck cheap cowboy brand more than doubled and gotten a little smaller bag

Bet I have fifty hours of cooking time the last couple years on the oil our Cajun Fryer. Take care of the oil, and it only gets better seasoned in time. In other words, drain back into the jugs so it doesn’t get rancid.

Prefer smoked or baked anyway.. I'll smoke one and the wife will throw one in the oven. I like them all three but fried is my third choice. Wife can bake one that's very juicy and flavorful and I always get compliments on my applewood smoked too.

Yeah i noticed Lowes is no longer carrying/selling 2 pack of 20ib bags of Kingsford 😏 On side note i stopped buying from the one i stop at because #1 It was super nasty and shouldn't have been selling (covered in rat feces) #2 Figured out why i was having trouble with it not burning correctly one year...

Yeah it's been $50 a jug for a while.

Talking about charcoal, I quit using charcoal years ago. I use oak wood. Get you a good coal bed going and cook away. Tastes way better than anything else and it's free.
