I remember a hood rat jumping on a certain someone’s hood then trying to bash out his window with his feet. Different state little north of here and he almost caught a bullet before being flipped off the roof in reverse. Cops told him he’d have been justified to splatter him. And justified to hit him with car sending him flying like a tumbleweed. I think I know who you are talking about. 🙋🏿♂️😁

The way I understand it, the vast majority of cases presented to a grand jury are ultimately approved for prosecution.
True considering it has gotten to the Grand Jury based on one of two things usually. First it have been before a judge already who found Probable Cause which is what the Grand Jury would determine, or the DA wants the case to be indicted. In a rare few, they don't want an indictment if it is a political hot potato and they want the monkey off their back.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

My cousin plays baseball for Wallace Dothan and he and a few of his teammates came over after I closed up Saturday night to have a few brews. They said that all heck has broken loose around Dothan since they combined the city schools. They could be exaggerating though. There are crazy folks everywhere. Weekend before last some da followed/flagged down my 16yo sister in law and tried to give her a cussing in the parking lot in front of Dick’s sporting goods. Silver GMC Acadia with a Troy tag on the front and an educator plate. We have a solid scouting report on the fella I got her a can of bear spray in case that happens again before she’s old enough to carry. DPD told my in-laws it happens all the time

The answer is awareness right foot down if possible and make sure your story gets told. I've been called paranoid for carrying extra mags Dave just wants to make sure it's his story that gets told to responders.

I know most everybody carries an auto pistol as they are easier to conceal but......in the case of a pumped up HIGH....BIG individual....wouldn't you rather have a "wheel-gun" in .357 or .44 Magnum?? I’ve been keeping a macro on me but my 44 is never too far away. I’ve always been a lot more accurate with a big framed revolver. JD brought up a good point, I’d hate to lose the pistol my grandad gave me just because someone was acting stupid

There's a data sheet that compiled civ sd shooting. The moral of the story was a 22 was just as effective at stopping attacks as magnums. Taking the outlier you described into account. I feel my 9 will stop anyone (CNS shot). Due to mag cap and faster reloads, I will have an advantage over the magnum if presented with a group of individuals.

Data must have been compiled by a Democrat group!! There's NO WAY a .22 will quickly put a quick stop on anyone pumped full of Adrenalin as effectively as a .44. And once a group see's there Buddys' Torso splattered all over them they will probably have second thoughts....

Nobody wants to get shot even with a .22. Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch says that pistols are to fight your way back to the rifle you put down and shouldn't of. Even the .44 out of a 6 inch barrel fares poorly compared to a 5.56.

And once a group see's there Buddys' Torso splattered all over them they will probably have second thoughts.... it compiled sd shooting and broke them down into caliber, number of shots, where the assailant was hit etc. Almost all bugged out when the shooting started (most were 1-2 shots) even if the wounds were to the extremities. Alot weren't even shot, but still disengaged. Headshots and cns shots had about the same result, no matter the caliber. Take Kyle rittenhouse for example. How do you think that would of played out with a 5 shot 44? ETA: I think this was what I read, but not sure. It was several years ago https://www.tierthreetactical.com/a...ich-caliber-has-the-best-stopping-power/Look at % of fatal hits and compare 22-44

Any competent district attorney can get a true bill (indictment) on a ham sandwich.
On the flip side, any competent district attorney can get a no bill (no indictment, case dies right there) on practically ANY case that they present to the grand jury.
Y’all read those two sentences again and then read the following.
What is a Grand Jury?
A Grand Jury is 18 people, chose at random, from a jury venire. So you get a notice that you have jury duty. You show up. The Circuit Judge then draws 18 court notices out of a box containing the court notices for every one that has showed up for jury duty. These 18 individuals will then be required to appear and be the next Grand Jury.
What does the Grand Jury do?
The Grand Jury hears evidence presented by the State and ONLY the State. The Grand Jury usually hears several hundred cases in the week that they serve. The State presents a brief synopsis of the case, calls an officer or two to testify, maybe a witness or two. Then the Grand Jury is left alone to decide if the case should move forward (a true bill, indictment) or if the case should die right there (no bill, case goes away).
Grand Jury proceedings are SECRETIVE in nature. The Grand Jury, as well as anyone participating in the process, are forbidden from disclosing any information regarding what transpired in the Grand Jury proceedings.

But to answer your question, it's the point we're a reasonable person can articulate that they felt their live was in danger of death or great bodily harm. Goodman for the win That being said: -Expect to get arrested -Expect to spend a schit ton of money defending yourself Remember all of that before you pull the trigger
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.
