Moss, I have a CP Wrath 430X. I have shot at 100 with it and it does really well at that distance. I still don't think I would shoot at a deer past 40 yards with it. Too much can happen between here and there.
Fur, I had a stud of a deer at 115 yards in Illinois a few years back. He was a 250lb+ deer with 180+ inches of antler. I had a slower Ravin crossbow at the time (431 fps). I was proficient at 100 yards on 3-D targets. The deer never knew I was in the world and he was very much in love with the girls. I never raised my bow. I watched him for 20 minutes cut does like a quarter horse cuts cows, but he never got anywhere near what I felt like was my hunting range. I just like to practice. It has paid off all of my life. >Moss
