I have roughly 20 acres of 13 year old mixed pines and hardwoods that are slowly being engulfed in kudzu. How do I get rid of the kudzu without killing my pines and hardwoods?

It's all out war. If you let up for a couple months it's like you never fought it at all. I had to cut out a trail / fire break and keep ithat bush hogged and sprayed so it doesn't cross it. It takes a couple of years for the root to stop trying to stop trying to cross it. Next year I'm going to level all the trees it's already taken over and keep that mowed till it dies. There is no easy way.

The only thing I would hate worse than kudzu would be taking care of sheep. LOL !!!! Nice handle too Kudzu ! But I'm sure that or goats / cows would probably work.

The city of Auburn is absolutely covered up with kudzu......I'm surprised someone from the college isnt doing some kind of experiments with goats on all of it

The best data I’ve seen is with Tordon. But it’s going to kill everything. Crossbow and Glyphosate just make it mad.
