I’m looking for meal replacement bars to replace lunch (and sometimes breakfast). The goal being to lose a little weight, but just overall being healthier. I work for myself and there’s no telling where I will be at lunch. Sometimes I grab fast food, sometimes it’s a gas station assortment. Sometimes I’ll run by my house if I’m close and have a pretty sizable meal of leftovers. I can tell this unhealthy eating is negatively effecting me, so I’m looking for something to make me feel full, give me some useable calories until supper and be convenient so I can just leave a box on my truck and eat it around noon. What have y’all had good (or bad) experiences with. Thanks in advance.

A can of skinless boneless sardines, or tuna, or boiled eggs, piece of Ezekiel bread, and a cup of peaches no sugar added, and half a caffeine pill.

Them bars make me hungrier because of the way they are processed by your body.

You wanna shut that hunger signal down nix the caffeine pill and take Guarana

I’ve had good luck with the Quest bars. Not a lot of carbs and keeps you full

You'd be better off with Tuna packets or Beef Jerky.

They just taste awful. 😆

I usually do high fat/protein for breakfast. Eggs and bacon. Maybe a glass of milk.

Quest and One bars are decent and usually 200-220 calories and ~20g protein. Metrx bars run closer to 400 calories. Tuna and lean meat are terrific for quick protein source but I also keep protein shakes on hand just bc of convenience.

I don’t ever eat breakfast. If I knew I had a “bar” to look forward to for lunch I’d be super depressed laugh

I haven't ate breakfast or lunch is over 6 months. My body is used to it now but it was rough for the first 3 months. I've been trying to eat just meat and vegetables around 5 or 6 in the evenings. I quit drinking everything except water. I do use the black cherry mio energy stuff in a few bottles to get some caffeine. I've lost close to 40 pounds and feel great

I eat all kinds of stuff around 9:30 or so in the AM for break (generally healthy snacks). The thing that keeps me feeling full the longest is a handful of mixed nuts and a bowl of PLAIN (nothing added…) oatmeal. Combine these two and sometimes I don’t get hungry for lunch till 1-2:00.
The Nature Valley honey and oats bar is good, it’s in my rotation.

I've lost 15 pounds and gained muscle just lifting weights in the gym about 3 to 4 times a week for 30 minutes since June. Eating the same as I do. Muscles look good too. I'm a big boy too. Cutting out the gas station food will help. I'd just pack a lunch. Amazing how much extra calories and larger portions are packed into fast food.

Just to be clear, I don’t usually eat breakfast. This is more of a noontime meal kind of thing.

No breakfast me, I eat fruit for lunch. A healthy meal about 4 or 5 with exercise before of after. Lots of processed stuff in some of the bars. I prefer to keep it as natural as possible.

I'll add a good protein shake if I'm hungry.

I forgot about that brand. Yes, concur, those are good too.
