Turnips thrive best in the fall, but they also do well in the spring. In colder regions, you should wait until the last frost has passed, typically around late March to early April.

If they get water, theyll be fine. We planted some brassicas in a food plot about a month ago. They came up then it was nearly 100° for a week. Some of it burnt up, some of it looks pretty good. We have got a couple of pretty good rains since then. Its growing really well since it cooled down some

I wouldn’t plant turnip greens until 1st of October with it being his dry I would say the same thing but we have 1/2 acre of them that are growing like crazy ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/RVk55CK3/20230923-095752.jpg) This is Josephs bowhunting plot. He planted it a month or so ago. Kale, rape, daikon radish, iron clay peas

Jwalker that looks mighty fine but I prefer mine to get a frost on them early in growth

Leafy vegetables will mature in one to two months, depending on the variety you choose. Determine the planting date and add the plant's growth period to know the optimal harvest time for maximum yield
