They can be used on a pistol. Might require a different mount

I have this sight and without the pic rail mount it will mount to a pistol with the docter foot print. I mounted it on my PSA dagger and it lines up perfect with the taller co-witness suppressor sights.

I doubt I’ll ever use another rds on a turkey gun. Bought into the hype, and the parasitic battery drain cost me a bird last year. Never had a bead fail.

They claim a battery will last thousands of hours in a FF3, but I change mine every season anyway. I would love to do without it, but I can't see an open sight anymore. I am very paranoid about the battery going out and check it constantly when hunting. I always have a spare battery and a screwdriver in my vest, but have never had to change it in the field.

It was a bad sight….battery wouldn’t last 5min. Couldn’t get it off the gun. I run a lot of RDSs on different stuff. Just first season trying one for turkey hunting after killing with nothing but a bead for nearly 40 years. Lol
